Well, another BK FFF is in the books. And with that comes a new ministry chapter in my life. I have officially resigned as Beach Kids Children's Pastor. It's not that I'm moving or anything like that. God has laid some things on my heart and feel now is the time to act on what I believe God has called me to do. I can never say thank you enough to those of you who have been a part of Beach Kids. What you've done and are doing have enteral implications and your reward will be great. I am staying on staff at Christian Center, but will be more focused on ministry that encompasses the family as a whole. I'm not sure how the BK Facebook page will work, but it will be family focused. Thank you and may Jesus bless Beach Kids.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! What a great night at Beach Kids Family Fun Fest. Hundreds of our friends and neighbors came by last night to play, eat and generally have fun. The Finding Nemo black light room was a huge hit, not to mention all the games we had going on. Everything ran smoothly and AWESOMELY (not sure if that's actually a word, but oh well :) ) . Thank you to everyone from Christian Center who took the time to come hang out and help. We also raised more than $200 for the Ocosta Elementary Closet. I couldn't be more proud of Christian Center. Thank you.

Things are coming together. The black light room is going too be really really cool. We have way too much candy. It's going to be dry. Beach Kids Family Fun Fest is just about here. See you tonight from 6-8 PM.

Saturday 8:52 AM: It's raining and a slight breeze is coming from the SW. So, what does one do on mornings like this? You post upcoming events going on with Beach Kids! We have two to talk about this morning. 1. Christmas Cupcake Play: Practice begins tomorrow at 10:10 in the auditorium. Snacks will be provided before practice. If you want to have your kids in the play, they will need to be at practice. Yep, there will be some work and memorization, but it will be SOOOooooo worth it. 2. Beach Kids Family Fun Festival: Tuesday October 31st, 6-8PM. Lots of free stuff going on. Come join us. We still need some help in a couple of areas. Parking lot help and booths. There is a sign up sheet in the foyer and please see Pastor Steven as soon as you can. Thanks and see you tomorrow.

The Christmas Cupcake Play practice for our Beach Kids ministry begins this Sunday at 10:10 AM. Come a few minutes early for a quick snack. Please share. Thanks.

Wednesday morning. Things are coming together for the Beach Kids Family Fun Festival. At this point we have 7 outdoor booths and 3 indoor booths confirmed. We're working on several others. If you are planning on helping at BKFFF please let me know ASAP. We still have areas where we can use your help. We could also use a barista that evening. Thanks

Busy weekend coming up. Set up this evening for the South Beach Christian Outreach Breakfast @ 4 PM. Come on by if you can. SBCO Breakfast from 8-11 AM Saturday morning. We'd love it if you could come and share a couple hours of help. Cranberry Festival is all day with all kinds of stuff going on. Including the Firefly Parade at 8 PM and $1 tacos at the Grayland Fire Station. Christmas Cupcake Kids Play Practice begins Sunday at 10 AM. Come join us for Beach Kids Small Groups and/or Beach Kids Live @ 9 and 11 AM Finally, the annual Beach Kids Family Fun Festival is Tuesday October 31st from 6-8 PM. We will be accepting donations of easy to prepare or ready to eat non-perishable food, towels, toiletries, shoes (up to kids size 6) and cash for the Ocosta Elementary's "Ocosta Closet". We are collecting easy to cook/ready to eat non perishable food items, new shoes (kids up to size 6), laundry pods, towels and toiletries. During the BKFFF we will also be collecting cash donations. All will be going to Ocosta Elementary's "Ocosta Closet". Please share. Thanks!

Don't forget the South Beach Christian Outreach Breakfast coming up this Saturday. 8-11 AM at Christian Center in Grayland. Then, after breakfast go have lunch at the Grayland Fire Station. Remember, it's Cranberry Festival time.

Can you believe it's Saturday already? That means we have Beach Kids tomorrow. Come join us at 9 and 11 AM. We'll have a special announcement about Christmas and how our kids can participate. Yes, I know it's only October, but ya gotta practice...right? So, See you tomorrow at 9 and 11. Please share this with any South Beach family. All are welcomed.

Things are coming together for our Beach Kids Family Fun Festival. Yep, final name...at least for this year. We are adding something to the festival this year. We are asking for food (easy fix) and clothing (new or really really close) items to help Ocosta Elementary School. There is a container in the lobby of the worship center for them. We also need candy for that evening. We had more than 600 people last year, so we need lots of candy. Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help. If you haven't done so, please do this weekend. Don't forget, Beach Kids Small Groups and Beach Kids Live Sunday at 9 and 11 AM.

And a wonderful Thursday morning to everyone! So, change two on our old Trunk and Treat event name (LOL). We are simplifying it to...Beach Kids Crazy For Our Community Fall Family Fun Fantastic Flavorful Festival. I think I covered it all. We call it Beach Kids Family Fun Festival for short. All families on the South Beach are invited. Ages 0 through 6th grade. Tuesday October 31st, 6-8 PM. Come join us, won't you?

The salmon are in the basin!! Before you head to the marina, come join us at BEACH KIDS! This morning at 9 and 11 AM. The candy tub is out for BK Community Family Fest. Yep, it's time for us to stock up on those sugary treats to help keep our local dentists employed for another year. We are adding another dimension to the festival. We need easy to fix food (mac & cheese, ramen, cup o'noodles, etc), new or really close to new kid size shoes, new or close to new kid size clothing, and kid size winter wear. I'll explain more as we get closer to the festival. Thanks

30 Miles of Junque is this weekend in the South Beach area. I was in Westport yesterday and could have gone to 45 (not joking all that much). Come by and visit the South Beach Christian Outreach's location at Living Hope Church on Forrest in Westport. Lots of stuff and some goofy kids pastor guy will be cooking hotdogs to help raise funds for the this vibrant ministry. In addition to the wonderful cuisine, there will be items to be raffled, sold and silently bid on. I know for sure a fishing trip with Deep See Charters will be available. See you later today.

Friday morning, the fog is in and it is very quiet outside this morning. But, it won't be quiet come Sunday morning! Beach Kids Small Groups and Beach Kids Live will be rocking the South Beach @ 9 and 11 AM. We are changing the name of our Trunk and Treat event...for sure. However, we got new signs last year with Trunk and Treat on them. We will be using it again this year. 🤣😜 Have a wonderful Friday!

Sunday, Sunday, just love that day. Sunday, Sunday, just seems to always turn out that way. Come on, if your looking at this, you're awake....at least sort of. Come join us this morning at Beach Kids! 9 or 11 AM. And, bring your new Trunk and Treat name ideas with you. And, enjoy a little coffee. And, maybe even go down the slide. And, learn more about building our relationship with Christ. And, lol with Pastor Steven as he doesn't act his physical age. And, just enjoy each other's company. Good morning Beach Kids! Ok, here's the deal. The annual Trunk and Treat has morphed into more than just Trunking and Treating. We are looking at a name change to better describe what's happening that evening. I need your help. I am taking suggestions on a new name. We have outdoor games, indoor games, food, inflatables, etc. I came up with Beach Kids Crazy Carnival, but got the 😐 emoticon from Pastor Myron. Give me your ideas...Go! Thanks

What's up South Beach? What are you doing this Sunday? Saturday, I'm going to the Seafood Festival at the Maritime Museum then Sunday I'll be at Beach Kids. We have our Small Groups at 9 AM and Beach Kids Live at 11. This week will be a little bit of a departure for BK Live. It will be a Movie and Popcorn day. It's time to take a little break and have a bit of fun. We'll be showing "No More Baths" and eating popcorn. Come join us.
